Meet #CherokeeByChoice Ambassador Barbara Corey! Barbara is the Senior Vice President of Managed Care at Wellstar Health System.Since opening in September of 2019, the Wellstar Cherokee Health Park has treated over 444,000 patients in their multispecialty outpatient facility located just off I-575 and Sixes Rd. They offer primary care as well as many specialties, with the latest additions being Cancer and GI care.Wellstar Cherokee Health Park is expanding their cancer services to allow their Cancer team to treat more patients (going from 6 to 24 infusion chairs) and expanding to include a procedure room where their GI physicians will be able to do procedures, including colonoscopies, right at the health park. Their Urgent Care Center is open 7 days a week from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m. to provide quick non-emergency care right here in Cherokee – and you can even make a reservation online!We are so excited to have you in #CherokeeByChoice Barbara!
