Our Verdict
The 25% will only be if you have a card which earns 5% at the merchant, in which case Kudos would give you an extra 20% for going through their portal. See our review of Kudos here to learn more. Note: the rewards comes as Amazon gift card, not cash.
Personally, I’m seeing Kudos offer me 12% bonus at Giftcards.com on top of the 3% which I’d earn with my Blue Cash Everyday card which is saved in my Kudos wallet. 12% back on Giftcards.com is excellent. Exclusions mentioned by Kudos: “Online Purchase is greater than 2000 or Purchase with Coupon Code.”
If someone has a card which earns 3x on Travel, you should be able to get an extra 12% back from Kudos on top of that for the travel merchants here, such as Choice Hotels.
Let us know if there are other merchants that you find interesting with this deal.
Kudos also offers a $20 bonus to those who signup using a referral link and make a purchase at a purchase on a boost merchant. My appreciation if you usemy referral link. The signup link will prompt you to add the Kudos chrome/safari extension and then to signup for an account by adding your name and credit cards. In the signup process there will be a box for a referral code, my code is CEDAR_KUDOS. We’ll each get $20 if you use it and complete the qualifications.

I see 8% cash back in my Citi Merchant Offers. Exp 8/29.

Earn when you shop online with your linked card at GiftCards.com. Limit 2 redemptions per cardholder for duration of offer. Only US-issued payment cards are eligible to enroll and earn. Online purchases made with a virtual card may not qualify for cashback rewards. Online offers are not valid for in store purchases and may not be combined with other Citi offers. Offer may be displayed on multiple websites but is redeemable only once per qualifying transaction. If you link to the same offer on more than one site, your qualifying transaction will only be eligible for rewards or benefits associated with the offer through the most recently linked site. Limit 1 redemption per offer link. A linked offer that has not been redeemed will automatically expire 45 days after it is linked or re-linked, or on the date the offer itself ends, whichever is sooner.

Lego is a decent deal with 5x, esp if you want any of their current additional promos – there are two gift with purchases available and a very limited number of 2x VIP point sets.

How is the percentage back that is earned able to be redeemed once it is in your Kudos wallet? Can it be used as a statement credit, applied towards a purchase of gift cards from a merchant, etc.?

Warning:
The post in the offer link implies that you can stack Kudos earnings on top of Giftcards.com sales:
“And some fantastic deals from these stores to stack on top of what you’re already using when you checkout through Kudos:
GiftCards.com:10% off select gift card brands, perfect for holiday shopping prep.”
However, when you go to activate the boost, it shows the following language:
“Exclusions:Online Purchase is greater than 2000 or Purchase with Coupon Code”
The 10% off sale on Giftcards.com requires the use of a coupon code, so according to the boost language, you won’t earn Kudos if you take advantage of the sale.
Pretty shady to promote “10% off select gift card brands” on Giftcards.com in this way to be honest…
