My favorite non-profit organization, Kidsave, founded by longtime DC resident, Terry Baugh, is celebrating 25 years with their gala April 25th at the National Press Club. The market this year is great for sellers. We had this house on the market last Summer and Fall and received no offers. Other homes in this area over a million also sat on the market. The interest rates caused buyers to wait. But Spring sprang buyers into action! It was a delight to work with the talented owner who did all the decorating. The real estate industry has been a big topic in the media since last Friday.You've probably seen the news about the National Associationof Realtors settlement regarding real estate commissions. As a result,the way buyers agents will be paid will change in the future. Nothing isexpected to change until July at the earliest. In the meantime,there is much speculation and untruths about this in the media.The settlement is not final as it still has to go through the courts.#realestate #NARsettlement #homebuyers
