How do you get past Victory Road Red? ›

In order to get through Victory Road, you need to do some old-fashioned rock pushing. The puzzles are exceedingly simple if you know what to do. Just push the boulders onto the round switches to clear the path. To get the items on the first floor, you need to push the rock so that it blocks one of the items.

Whether from a lack of challenge or atmosphere or often both, a proper Victory Road feels like the final challenge before the final bosses of Pokemon. Among eight roads found throughout several regions, the best easily clear the worst.

Reach Victory Road via Routes 22 and 23.

Fly to Viridian City and travel west—along the way, prepare to fight your rival one last time. Once you've defeated him, continue going left (west) along Route 22 until you find a large building at the end of the path.

In the last room, go straight until the path opens up south. Then, turn east and climb up the rocks and take on the dragon trainer guarding the bridge. Once they're defeated, go up and through the lighted doorway to the left to exit Victory Road.

Victory Road is a lot like Seafoam Island. Once again, you'll need a Pokémon with Strength, and you'll need to do a lot of pushing rocks around.

Congratulations. This is the final stretch! You should assemble a party composed of your most powerful Pokémon -- one of which has to know the Strength technique.

There are items that can only be accessed if you have Waterfall and Rock Smash, but to make it through you only need Surf and Strength.

Players will need Strength, Rock Smash, and Surf to make their way through the cave. Flash and Waterfall, while not required, make traversing the cave easier.

The Victory Road Trailhead is located north of Victory Road between Warm Springs Park and the Utah State Capitol. This location represents the lowest elevation (4450 ft) and westernmost access to the Foothills Trail System within Salt Lake City.

You can do V-Road with out strength, but if you have it, it's just a little easier to go back through to train before the E4.

Where is Mewtwo in Fire Red? ›

Cerulean Cave is a large cave located off of Route 24. Surf will be needed to enter the cave, along with defeating the Pokemon League AND giving Celio the two gemstones. Inside are many tough Pokemon, including the strongest Pokemon alive, Mewtwo!

You need Cut to gain access to Rock Tunnel, and Strength is used in Victory Road. You need Waterfall to finish Celio's sidequest (the Ruby and the Sapphire).

In Generations II and IV, there are no Trainers in Victory Road. According to Silver in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, the reason for this is because he defeated them all. In Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, after entering the Hall of Fame and boarding the S.S.

Surf and Strength are required.

That's pretty much all. Others include Rock Smash and Waterfall for some items.

Head North across the bridge near and above him to get to the exit. He'll only move when you have the National Dex and the area he blocks is foggy, but you get a Double Partner named Marley for help (I just used never-miss moves and fumbled around in the fog back in Pearl).

Take the ladder by him, 2F-D, back up to 3F. Go upwards to the other ladder in this area next to the Coach Trainer, 3F-D, which takes you back down to the walled-off right end of 2F. Go to your right from there, and you're at the exit!

Head back down and under the bridge, and this time head right. Use Rock Climb to reach the area above, and fight the final trainer of the area -- Dragon Tamer Clinton. After taking him on, you can simply head north and then west out of the cave. Congratulations!
