However, despite boasting a squad packed with talent in most positions, England were beaten 1-0 by Iceland at Wembley in their final friendly before heading off to Germany.

Bukayo Saka and John Stones are both set to start for England tonight despite previous injury concerns.

talkSPORT understands the pair will both be in the XI, while Crystal Palace's Marc Guehi will get the nod to partner Stones in central defence.

Trent Alexander-Arnold will play in central midfield alongside Declan Rice - edging out Conor Gallagher who had been battling to start - with Jude Bellingham further forward.

After his stand-out season for Premier League champions Man City, Phil Foden will take his place on the left, with Saka on the right behind captain Harry Kane.

Luke Shaw is still not at full fitness so Kieran Trippier will be left-back and Kyle Walker as expected will start on the right, in front of goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.

Meanwhile, Serbia have Aleksandar Mitrovic leading the line, while Dusan Tadic and Filip Kostic will be providing the ammunition for the former Fulham and Newcastle striker.
